Differentiate Dangerous Goods from Hazardous Goods...
Dangerous goods and hazardous goods both are not good for the safety of human lives. Both are considered same in some cases but both the goods are different in nature. Dangerous goods are those things which have an immediate degree of risk to the lives of people, property and the environment due to nature of its physical and chemical properties. Explosives, flammable liquids, flammable solids, gases, oxidising agents, organic peroxides, toxic substances, radioactive material, corrosive substances and miscellaneous dangerous goods are types of dangerous goods. Hazardous goods are those things which have the potential to be harmful to human health. It can be in short term or in long term. It includes acids, pesticides and heavy metals.
So core difference between these is that dangerous goods have an immediate danger to people, property and the environment that will harm a person's health ultimately but hazardous goods have a direct risk to a person's health both in short and long term.
