Malnutrition and HIV are strongly have strong relation with eachother.. any immune Deficiency which is caused by AIDS it leads to malnutrition .on the other hand,also malnutrition leads to immune deficiency have a contribution in progression of AIDS. A person have more risks who have MALNUTRITION because of ----- inadequate food intake,poor absorption,muscle wasting,having chronic infections.

A clients who is suffering from malnutrition along with have AIDS have faster progression of AIDS as the person is weak from previous amd can't fight against the infection as well. The clients who have the malnutrition along with AIDS have seen to develop INFECTIVE DISEASE LIKE MALARIA, TUBERCULOSIS, PNEUMONIA ,OTHER OPPORTUNISTIC INFECTIONS.

  

Intervention to improve the conditicondition---

​​​​​​Primarily we have to correct the malnutrition status. Healthy dietary practice have a drastic role in case of AIDS , as it will have the body to fight against the infections..... There are some intervention present--

1.EAT SMALL AMOUNT BUT HAVE FREQUENT MEALS-

There is seen that person who have MALNUTRITION along with AIDS have a difficulty in Food intake or poor absorption.The PLWHAs(people living with HIV/AIDS) have to given small meals amount as stomach will easily absorb the food and also frequently eating will increase the intake of food

2.TRY TO EAT A COMBINED OF VARIETY OF FOODS---

People living with HIV/AIDS should need to take a balanced diet which should be combining of energy, protein and micronutrients.energy is needed as it will give the body to stay active. Protein will help to build and grow the body . micronutrients help in absorption of protein and carbohydrates . Help to fight the infections.

These will help the client to build a good nutrition and the progression of AIDS may reduce and the client can live better from previous.
