Do you believe environmental factors or genetic factors have a bigger impact on human development and why?
Environmental factors and genetic factors both have a great impact on human development. Humans are defined through their genes and any changes in those can be beneficial or detrimental for humans. Many diseases are genetically linked, immunity from certain diseases also depend on the genes a person has. Presence of some particular genes can ofcourse guide a path to human development. Environmental factors also play a major role as the way the environment behaves the body reacts to it and according to the environment or surrounding our genes change to make us adapt better to the surrounding hence we can say that change in genes can be a lot due to environment. The challenges faced by humans from the environment led to the place where we are right now and as you know we have came really far in a development sense since last 100 years. The terrain made us develop vehicles, the environment led us to make homes that are really enduring againi the harsh climate, then using wind, tides, sunlight as using resources which has helped a lot in human development and the list goes on. So now we can come to conclusion that both genetic and environmental factors are really important for human development.
Hope this helps, Good luck!!!
