a). Systematic sampling can be used. By using it the cans are "counted off". That is, every kth element is taken.

This is similar to lining everyone up and numbering off "1,2,3,4; 1,2,3,4; etc". When done numbering, all cans numbered 4 would be Checked. The selection of sample should represent the Population.

b). Random sampling can be used. Each student in the class has an equal chance of occuring. It requires that a complete list of every student in the class be obtained. one can generate random numbers using the TI82   calculator.student selected randomly be examined.

c).  Cluster sampling can be used. Patients having similar kind of symptoms are to grouped into a cluster and clusters are randomly selected, and each patient in the selected clusters are to be examined.

d).  Stratified sampling can be used. Experts having a positive opinion of implimenting VAT and Experts having a negative opinion of Implementing VAT to be classified as Stratas. A sample is taken from each of these strata using either random, systematic, or convenience sampling.
