Allergy - An allergic reaction occurs when cells in the immune system interpret a foreign body or allergen as harmful and the immune system over reacts to it. Antihistamines treat most of the minor allergic reactions.

Autoimmunity / autoimmune disease - It is a condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks our own body. More than 80 different autoimmune diseases exit and their symptoms overlap. Blood test that look for autoantibodies help diagnose these conditions.

General - include Antihistamines, Steroids and most importantly avoiding allergens.	Treatments cannot cure, but can control & bring down the inflammation / reduce pain. Drugs used to treat are - NSAIDs such as ibuprofen and naproxen.
Drug allergy - antihistamines & steroid. In severe case Bronchodilators or adrenalin	immune suppressing drugs
Food allergies - Antihistamine and Vasoconstrictor. Avoid specific foods	Treatment to relieve pain, swelling, fatigue and skin rashes.
Contact dermatitis - Antihistamine, steroid, antibiotics, antifungal. Allow rash to clear.	eating a well balanced diet & regular exercise
