equality rights
a. the part of the government composed of the queen acting through
the prime minister, cabinet deputy ministers, and government
departments and officials, also know as the crown.
b. draft of a proposed law introduced before parliament or a
legislature.
c. basic rights enumerated in the Canadian charter of rights and
freedoms, including the right not to be discriminated on the basis
of the grounds such as gender, age, religion.
d. the legal system developed in England based on judges APPLYING
the customs and traditions.
e. the legal system used in most of Europe based on a central
code.
Right to equality is the international human rights law which treats every person equally irrespective of their gender , class, race etc. It promotes non descrimination.
So in this case , for EQUALITY RIGHT - The correct option would be (c) basic rights in enumarated to Canadian charters of rights and freedoms, include in the right not to be discriminated on the basis of the ground such as gender, race, religion.
Other options are not appropriate as the option (c) because we can clearly understand what statement (c) says and what equality right means. Option (a) is not correct because this right do not implies that all ministers ,cabinet , government officials are said to be crowns . Similarly RIGHT TO EQUALITY is a necessary right which is provided to the citizens on the very birth of the constitution. So option (b ) is also not correct. This law is not a legal system but is a fundamental right which comes under legal system so options (d) and (e) are also not correct.
