According to Aristotle what makes someone a good communicator?
According to Aristotle the following aspects make a person a good communicator-
1- The speaker and speech are the most significant facets of Aristotle's communication entity. Speech, speaker, audience, effect, occasion are the core pillars of his framework of communication. These must reflect in the effort.
2- He valued public speaking more than interpersonal communication or interactions. The most active role belongs with the speaker. Therefore one has to be actively engaged in speaking.
3- The choice of the words has to be careful/ elegant and influencing.
4- A good speaker analyses, comprehends the audience.
5- Eye contact, body language and voice modulation matters a lot. These have to be effectively utilised.
6- Monotonousness/ boredom, confusion, fatigue, helplessness, forceful speech, lack of enthusiasm have to be avoided, rather ceased/ killed.
7- Character of the speaker, the extent of compassion and the reasoing capability/ rationality during the talk are the three attributes that better help a person to emerge as a good communicator.
