How does the RDBMS support Business Intelligence Applications?
Relational databases run as the database support across a wide variety of businesses and for good reasons. They are moderately simple to create and use, and they provide a consistent performance in both transaction processing and business intelligence applications, with support for operation and data reliability.
Though, relational databases need not necessarily personalized well to changes in the types and amount of data being generated like the shapeless data that is common in big data applications and increasing traditional databases to contain rapid growth is expensive. So, NoSQL database technologies are demanding the control of the relational database management system. There are a number of NoSQL database choices developed to complete particular reasons that are not handled by RDBMS. Even though the modern designs and efficiency in organization big data sets, NoSQL database is not fit for all projects.
Depending on the business objectives, traditional databases, NoSQL databases or the combination of the two may be best to bring the most value.
