  • Trichinella sp are allowed to grow in anerobic and microaerophilic atmosphere.

  • Presence of heat shock protein in host and antibodies specific for trichinella species in the blood of humans and animals.

  • Virilent factors like nurse cell are produced by trichinella .
  • This protects the developing larvae from host immune system.

g)

  • It causes Trichinellosis.

h)

  • Albendazole, mebendazole and corticosteroids are used to treat Trichinellosis.
