Fiduciary involves a trust especially in regards to the relationship between a trustee and a beneficiary.The management of healthcare industry is very complex. Being complex its involves errors. An organization should not only focus on delivery of its services but also its internal relation which involves the executive, managers and the beneficiaries i.e the clients and workers. For a collaborative functioning of any healthcare organization, its important that a healthy fiduciary responsibilities are exercised by the healthcare executives and managers. These responsibility includes

  • equality in law and acceptance of the diversities.
  • Benefit plans for the beneficiaries should be easily accessible and enacted correctly.
  • The administrative errors, negligence should be avoided.
  • The beneficiaries should have assess to bring their queries and maintenance of helpdesk will prove beneficial.
  • The executives should participate in every meetings.
  • Should have complete and accurate information before decision making.
  • Timely staff appraisals should be done, performance evaluation, maintaining of communication with association staff.
  • Inform the organization if any conflicts are present. and refrain from disclosing confidential.matters.

Thus, if the fiduciary responsibility of healthcare executives and managers are met adequately then it will generate a feeling of security and safety among the workers and thus ensure a productive outcome. A fiduciary duty involves treating its sub ordinates and clients with equality and equal law for all inspite of the vast diversity the healthcare industry. This must be carried out with diligence and competence. Any organization that functions with negligence and administrative errors due to delayed or non availability of the benefits or improper application of laws, results in unsatisfied beneficiary, lack of cooperation and poor outcome.
