Expert Solution

ANS- Role of bile acid indigestion.

Bile is a green-yellowish complex fluid containing water, electrolytes, and some organic molecules and is produced in the liver of a body. Bile is secreted from the hepatocytes cells(liver cells) and store into the gallbladder and flows through the bile duct.

  • The person is suffering from a medical disorder called malabsorption in which the body did not absorb the nutrients properly and or not making the enzymes or bile acid which is responsible for the digestion of fats.
  • As limiting the amount of bile fluid produced, the digestion of fat is reduced and that's why the person,s feces contain a lot of fat, apart of it feces become watery and light in color and also other symptoms such as weight loss, diarrhea, and scaly skin rashes observed,

ROLE OF BILE IN FAT DIGESTION

  • The bile acid present in bile fluid functions to digestion and absorption of fat and fat-soluble vitamins in the small intestine of a body.
  • Bile acid comes from the liver into small intestine were through the bile duct, where it brakes down the large fat globules into small fat droplets because small fat droplets are easily digested through the digestive enzymes that are produced from the pancreas.

*** Bilirubin is a waste product for a body that has to be removed out of the body by secreted into the bile fluid and gets removed through the feces.
