1) for option one diamagnefism and paramagnetism are properties of a materia that induced an internal magnetism in it which oposes the magnetic field or are in same direction to the magnetic field respectively and are weak in nature. So in a paramagnetic subtances the effect of diamagnetism need not be overcome by paramagnetic effect. So the first option is not correct.
2) gadolinium transition metal are indeed useful in increse the quality of MRI but those metals are strongly paramagnetic. So this option is false.
3) third option may be correct since diamagnetic material consist of paired electrons and paramagnetic materail consist of unpaired electrons. So since there are 10 paired electrom so this is strongly diamagnetic and weakly paramagnetic.
4)from definition we know that in diamagnetic material the induced magnetic field is in the opposite direction to the external field. So this option is incorrect.
Here only option c) is correct.
