Here are the answers for the given five topics.

1)" Eating your young" ritual is a form of violence based on incivility or inequality.It can be a threat to the nursing students who start their carrier with much expectations. This behaviour can destroy the harmony in the clinic work settings. It occurs between experienced nurses and new nurses.The experienced nurses criticise the new nurses for their lack of knowledge. This bullying or harassment can affect them mentally.

2) The workplace violence is a threat or challenge which can be developed in the workplace.It occurs mainly due to over competence existed between employees. This includes physical or emotional disturbances that can have negative impact on individuals.This finally results in uncomfortable working environment leads to lowered skills and efficiency . The workplace violence initiated because of conflict between co-workers because of stress, tension, workload etc.

3) Lavinia Lyoyd Dock is a nurse and social reformer. She worked and stood against inequalities of gender, caste etc. She mainly focussed on poor labourer immigrants to encourage to prevent disease and educate them. She took initiative to improve health of people and worked to improve the knowledge of nursing students.She supported the community to face challenges .

4)Affordable care Act (ACA) is an act which includes the rights and protection innorder to encourage better coverage of quality health care. It focus on preventive care. ACA took initiative to improve consumer protections to prevent malpractices of insurance companies. It also covers existed health conditions or diseases. This mainly emphasis on patient centered care.

5) The nursing shortage is an issue recently been experienced in USA. This may occur due to retirement or inefficiency to train new nurses etc. This can bring negative impact on existed team of nurses. They should work extra hours to compensate shortage. This can lead to tiredness, thereby decreases efficiency to provide quality care to patients.
