How does Psychology and Psychological Research go hand in hand?
Psychology is the study of the human mind and behavior. The human brain is a complex part of the body. What is going on in the human mind is very difficult to know as, thought, emotions, dreams, and memories cannot be seen with naked eyes. It is the human behavior that shows the condition of the person. The mental condition of the person can be assessed by a psychologist.
The research was done by various psychologists on human mental health. With the help of the research, various theories have come to light as proved by Sigmund Freud the human mind is like an iceberg the top portion that can be seen is conscious mind and the hidden portion is subconscious mind. His theory states that human health problems are due to hidden childhood experiences that come out in the physical form as Anna suffering from the seizure when her subconscious mind is read her sickness disappeared.
The research has helped in defining and treating different types of cognitive behavior by a different method like1. Clinical psychology, that concentrates on the intellectual, emotions, biological and psychological aspect of human behavior.2. The cognitive psychology that investigates the internal mental problem it is like neuroscience it deals with how people think, communicate, and learn it is problem-solving.
Carl Jung, Carl Roger, and Alfred Adler research are based on human behavior that is psychological problems. If human behavior were not noticed and not researched, there would not have been any remedy thus psychology and psychological research go hand in hand
