1) The five factors that magnify the need for training are as follows:
a. Skill sets of Labour for the particular business.
b. To compete in the global business world.
c. To be in line with the innovative and agile technology.
d. To cope up with the change process that is continual and rapid in nature.
e. Change in demographics needs the training in the global business.
2) The potential benefits of training are as follows:
1. Reduction in cost of production: Qualified skill sets reduces the errors during the work process. This would in turn reduce the time for the process and hence the cost of production would be reduced by enhancing the output rate.
2. Less Errors: The trained labourer enhances the efficiency of the process by reducing the number of errors in the process.
3. Quality Enhancement: The quality of the process as well as output would be higher as skilled employee reduced the errors in the process.
4. The training process improve the safety and reduces the accident prone zones to the process.
5. It enhances the company value by integrating the labourer and acknowledging them by explaining all the important skills to them. This is two way benefit process. The company creates the image in the mind of employees and on other hand it employee would be benefited by the skill sets.
