One of the most important socialization agent is my family, especially my parents and my siblings who have impacted and influenced every part of mine. Their loving and caring attitude has helped me grow a healthy child both mentally and physically. My father’s hard work, sacrificing nature and encouragement helped me learn things in a positive manner. My mother’s caring and guiding attitude helped develop empathy which I think is the most important characteristics one should possess. My siblings were with me supporting, playing and helping thus creating a bond that has influenced my personality in such a way that I feel friendly with most of the people who I come across.
The second important socialization agent is my school. My teachers, friends and others who are employed in the school has helped develop my social skills. I have grown accepting differences of opinions, respecting friendship, staying with friends in times of difficulty, teamwork, tolerating mistakes etc. Friends, especially are people who have positively influenced me to have a healthy competition both academically and in extracurricular activities. I have come into contact with many students from multiple cultural backgrounds that helped me understand that people are different and that people need to be respected and appreciated for what they are.
