As an intern in the field of Banking during my under-graduation days, my interest in the field of Banking got a boost. I now wish to explore my horizons into more challenging spheres of my career path in future and thereby seeking for opportunities to work with a Company that can offer me with the abilities of a career growth and help me showcase my leadership and management skills in a more constructive way.
To complement with my current qualifications, I availed a reasonably good experience in the field of Cash Management and Treasury services in the Banking industry under my Trainer, who was then, a Senior manager in that Banking Organization. My Trainer was impressed with my acumen with the investment strategies even though I was new to the field but my simple ideas with strong foundation in fact, helped my Bank to cash upon many significant investment ideas at the Treasury department. Little I was aware of, that my strategic ideas, though not polished at that time, could be molded so well by the Treasury team, to convert my ideas into their strategic plans. I further assisted in utilizing the available resources in the Bank to the most optimum way under my power which was extremely limited and in addition, suggested for the ways our Team could help grow the revenue for the entire department and thereby for our Bank overall.
In addition to this, apart from positively influencing the bottom-line of my Organization, my proactive nature helped my Organization bag a significant opportunity in the industry before the same could be offered by any other competing Banks and this resulted in rendering a special commendation from the Management’s panel. In terms of maintaining relationships with the Bank’s third parties, I was considered as the only Intern from my Department whose communication and influential competencies could have a potential positive feedback from the customers. Therefore, Banking as a career suits my burning desire to making the industry more robust in the days ahead.
Also, I always have regarded my leadership skills as my most pride possession and strongly believe in the principles of ethical leadership.
