When given the options on what Google should do next - I believe that they should focus on its core competency & diversify into new areas.

• Google should focus on its creativity culture & aim at expanding its market base with more changes & technologies.
• Ambient computing offers a great solution & the company would want that you use their tech, hardware, user experience, human interaction and learning for 24/7.
• Google should keep adding to its google devices - the Chromebook should be accessible and affordable for millennials and Gen-Z. It is important for Google to penetrate into the school & education sector across the world.
• Apart from that Google products it needs to enter the e-commerce space & take a market share.
• The hardware industry is something which Google can dominate & have both high end and affordable devices which will help capture the market further.
• The Google ads are expected to go offline and that will add a lot to their revenue streams.

Google has been able to integrate, develop and re-develop the internal & external skills to build a diverse and highly talented workforce who can adapt to the changing environment. Google has introduced innovation and creativity as a part of its core culture. Since it has highly skilled employees and keeps investing in education & research it has been effective in bringing the culture of innovation.

It is important to understand that many big companies are innovating and hence Google to maintain its share and increase its impact needs to diversify into new areas while maintaining its core competencies.
