Though Marijuana is an illicit drug,it is a common favorite among youngsters especially Americans.As the debate over legalized marijuana use brews up in the air,it might not be long before everyone starts to smoke in public without fear of jail.

There isn't much evidence that taking marijuana occasionally has any deteriorating effect on the health.,but prolonged use could have a lingering effect leading to changes in respiratory pattern,memory loss and other health problems.

The effects marijuana offers to its addictive are bloody eyes,A r Ruth miss,decreased coordination and dry mouth.Marijuana contains almost 60 chemicals called cannabinoids ,enough to create the effects as discussed above.

Similarly,marijuana smoke has almost the same chemicals as that of tobacco smoke and most of them could cause cancer.Though yet no proof of marijuana has caused cancer,but it does shows pre cancerous changes in the lungs of the patient who also smokes cigarettes.A study published in 2013 shows thatch wavy marijuana smoking might raise the risk of cancer in the future.

Researchers investigated the brain imaging scans of affected people has revealed significant changes in the blood flow to the parts of the brain involved in memory and attention,as well as changes in the size and shape of the thalamus.The effect of smoking pot has a severe effect on teenagers ,as their brains are still developing.The other health effects attributed to marijuana smoking are rather psychological apart from effects they have on lungs and brain such as Anxiety,Depression,increased heart rate and suicidal thought

Addiction is the hardest part of all,when it comes to stopping ,compared to other drugs it doesn't have same withdrawal symptoms like heroine.Furthermore long term smokersxwho try to quit smoking,eventually seeks treatment but ends up smoking migraine,even though they knew the I'll effects of it .

Preferably Marijuana is often referred to as Gateway drug,as it opens up doors to other addictions ,especially if one has started using it at a tender age.There are people who bAke it as a brownie to eat ,to escape from the harmful effects it could have on lungs.

Continuous research is going on to understand the bottom line of the effect of marijuana to its users.
