My working company utilizes Google Analytics as the main tools to record customer’s data andmeasure a strategy and tactic’s efficiency. According to Fifteen Design (2015), Google Analytics is an extremely essential digital marketing tool, but seriously underused by majority of businesses. Google Analytics allows us to evaluate the results of individual campaigns in real-time, compare the data to previous periods, etc. The two most significant features of Google Analytics are conversion tracking and customer engagement. It is not difficult to know the number of people that has visited our pages and their origins. But through Google Analytics, we can set up goals to track whether a visitor completes a certain action on our page or not, which means the traffic is converting. Besides, Google Analytics allows us to know the level that users are interacting with our designated websites or pages, which is the feature of customer engagement.
There are more and more features of Google Analytics and it is worthwhile to detect summary, Google Analytics allows people to track many important metrics by covering all aspects. Through Google Analytics, we can monitor the effectiveness of the online marketing strategies, onsite content, user experience, and device functionality .The data Google Analytic gives can show us what works well whereas what does not. As long as we can identify an issue our websites have, we can find a way to figure out. All in all, Google Analytics help businesses to be improved and become better and better.
