•Georgia is a republican form of government with three branches: the legislature, executive, and judiciary.
Legislative branch makes the laws . Executive branch executes or enforced the laws . Judiciary branch checks the constitutionality of the laws .
•The Senator should be :
-Atleast 25 years of age .
-He/she should be an American citizen.
-He/she should be a Georgia citizen for at least two years and a resident of his or her Senatorial District for at least one year immediately preceding election.
•The qualifications are :
-The person should be an American citizen with 2 years of Georgia citizenship .
-The person must be atleast 21 years of age .
-The person must be a Georgia citizen for at least two years, and a legal resident of the district the representative was elected for at least one year.
•For Governor :
-He should be living in United States for atleast 15 years and particularly in Georgia for 6 years .
-The person must be atleast 30 years old .
•The judicial branch has the power to determine the constitutionality of the laws. It interprets the State’s laws and make sure for their implementation. The two kinds of courts in Georgia: trial court and appellate court .
