• Method selection: it is essential to select the appropriate methods for job evaluation. One particular purpose cannot apply to all kinds of job evaluation. The ranking method is commonly chosen for most of the job evaluations. The ranking method is considered to be the simplest way for job evaluation. Evaluations are measured as a whole instead of selecting any particular. Thus, there can be numerous flaws in the system. The ranking is the best way for selection. Other valuable methods are classification methods, and hay method.
• Factors that value most: most valued factors for evaluation should be selected sequentially. Factors generally stand-alone instead of an overlap. Factor preferences depend on the evaluator.
