Summative evaluation:

This type of evaluation involves the assessment of wether the objective/ goal gets achieved. For instance, at the completion of project, assessing for the achievements, at the end of the program- having semester exams etc.

Aspects:

Authenticity- evaluation involves real time application assessment

Reliability- to assess relaibility the test should be undertaken in different settings

Volume- the assessment should be of necessary volume. too much of questions to validate will cause stress to both students and teacher.

It is important to have a culturally competent program evaluation, so that the evaluators were able to equipped them with knowledge and skills inorder to tackle students from different diversities of culture. It helps the evaluator to have an open mind, without assumptions, asking the right questions with respect and thus students are competent enough to work across cultures.
