Expert Solution

Indeed, smoking scenes in the movies increase the positive image and intention to smoke among youth. The movie developers uses the smoking scene to make the character look cool and today's generation is fascinated to look cool in the society and they learn from these movies to smoke which affect their health and environment too. According to the survey in USA, everyday around 2000 teenage tends to try something and most of them decided to continue smoking and they learn such things from the movie. These movies don't even make them aware of the negative aspects of the smoking. Some of the regulations I'll suggest for this issue are rating the movie '16+' which promotes drugs substance, showing the 'smoking is injurious' before or during movie in such movies. Parents should also focus on teaching their child about negative aspects of smoking and keeping their children away from such movies.
