Solutions

Expert Solution

Snowball sampling and convenience sampling both are non-probablity sampling techniques, in which :-

  • Snowball sampling means to those sampling in which existing study subject recurits furture sample through his connection, thus the samle group grow with connection to connection and that's why known as snowball sampling.

This, sampling are used for such research where sample are not easily available and sampling done in hidden population. Example:- Sex worker, drug addict etc.

  • Convenience Sampling technique used in random people and where large population is present thats why its aso know as grab sampling, accidental sampling etc.

Difference between snowball sampling and convenience sampling are follow :-

  • Snowball sampling techniques sample are not easily avilable whereas, in convenience sampling techniques sample are very easily available.
  • In snowball sampling accuracy is not confirmed whereas, in convenience sampling accuracy of result is confirmed.
