Everything we do on this planet leaves a mark. An ecological footprint is the degree of human impact on our ecosystems. Americans are at the top of the list for their detrimental footprints on our ever-increasing fragile planet. How does your personal footprint compare to others in America or others around the world? Do you personally do things which should help to lessen your footprint? Have you within recent years changed your habits or actions to help the planet? Do you think that global warming and destruction of our planet is severe, or do you think it is all public hype? Are the Earth's forests disappearing? Does it matter if they are? Is there any hope for our planet? What are your suggestions or concerns? List at least one source from your research. MUST BE IN YOUR OWN WORDS.

Ecological footprint is the way to define that how much we are using and consuming in relation to the environment,s capacity that how much it needs and can provide us. If I compare ecological footprint with Americans than this is less as Americans have 8.22 ghac/person having biocapacity of 3.76 ghac/person and Indians have 1.16 ghac/persons having biocapacity of 0.45 ghac/person. It shows that development in America is more unsustainable in comparasion to India.

Yes, I try to avoid removing any plant, and try to do more and more plants. I also avoid to use the vehicles that use petroleum and oils. Some habits I had changed like I started saving electricity, papers and I also started to throw non-biodegradable waste outside.

Global warming and destruction of our planet is really a severe issue, it's not a public hype. As we can observe the change in today's climatic conditions that are all results of the global warming. In coming years it will also increase the water level, which has started already that will ultimately results into the decrease in land area.

Yes Earth's forest are disappearing because population is increasing and everyone needs land to live. So, forest land is now getting converted into the buildings, roads, railway tracks, croplands and so on. Forest plays very important role in balancing the whole ecosystem. According to me they the superior most in ecosystem. So, their disappearance matters a lot to human beings and for other creatures also. And Global warming is one of the result of their disappearance. If Every person start thinking about our planet and start planting trees then there can be a hope.

I will suggest to plant more trees, to conserve our biodiversity, then only we can save our breed i.e. The Breed of Human Beings bacause we all are connected to each other in a string.
