You and your parents have the same genes, but may show different phenotypes. explain how this is posiible
ANSWER -
WELL, even after having the same genes , the expression of the genes are resulted into different phenotypes. this happens because, genes expressions are not only dependent on the genotypes but also on the various other factors, like surroundings, environment, activity, and availability of nutrients.
for the optimal functioning of the gene, these factors along with other few factors should be favorable.
if a gene require certain protein or vitamin for its expression but there is no availability of that particular vitamin or protein in a long term, then this may results into the prolonged delay of the expression of the gene or may also results into the disease.
also, if the environment is not favorable, for example, if a human being is living on high altitudes, then due to high pressure and low availability of air, there will be differnt expressions of the genes doesnt matter even if the genotypes are same or not.
also, the surroundings, in which a person is living, for healthy expression of genes, a healthy surrounding is required.
thus because of these factors, along with the some internal regulatory mechanisms of the genes, theere occurs the difference
