What are your thought on "Exposing hidden homophobias"?

(Answer) Homophobia and homosexuality have similar implications. A homosexual individual has the right to their own choice, thoughts or actions so long as they do not put anyone or themselves in direct or indirect danger.
Similarly, a homophobic individual would objectively have the right to hold any view as they please, so long as they do not obstruct the choices and freedoms of another individual that isn’t out to actively hurt them.
This would be an example of simply agreeing to disagree. A homophobic individual would not have the right to obstruct a homosexual individual as long as their rights are not being hindered and vice versa. This ideology is based on the simple principle of a democracy that allows each individual the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness so long as they are not directly or indirectly the usurpers of any individual’s rights.
Therefore, if hidden homophobia would incite hate and consequently violence or subjugation, they would have to be exposed and curbed.
