Human resource is an integralpart of any organization because they directly manage the workforce of the business to ensure business flows smoothly. There are severalethical considerations as far as the job of a HR professional is concerend. These ethical issues deal with the general HR practices and how they are argued to be under ethical consideration. We consider one such ethical issue here.

The most common ethical issue that is observed in today's world as far as HR profession is conerned is the use of data by the HR professionals. The HR professionals have access to the personal, medical data of all the employees and this data can be of imense importance to many other organizations. Hence, the protection of this data from being stolen is a concern for any HR professional. Hence, the ethical issues rise when HR professionals trade such data to other organizations for monetary benefits and hence is a big ethical issue.

To avoid such ethical issues the organization can have a secured software architecture that will keep the data of the employees secured and notify agaisnt the theft of data. There are many security tools that help the organization to curb the lickage of data from the organization. Another way could be to have only a select few employees with access to such data and thus it becomes easy to monitor the data when only a few people have access to it. Hence, these are two common considerations that are followed widely across organizations with crucial data.

  • Scamming with fake company documents
  • Economic scams
  • Principal Agent issues
