- Speediness Every recruiter has to face the challenge of quick
hiring.Before selecting the right candidate multiple round of
interviews have to be conducted and also recruiter has to face
challenge of talented candidate with right qualifications being
selected by the competitor organization. So, the entire process has
to be conducted in a speedy and timely manner.
- Limited resources Human resources have to face the challenge of
limited resources. Some HR Departments are given a fixed budget and
they have to decide how to utilize that budget effectively and
efficiently. They have to make a choice between different methods
of recruiting like posting jobs on a famous recruitment site and
that too in the hottest recruitment spots or adopting traditional
methods of recruiting using free job boards or another may be just
using referrals from existing employees.
- Unable to find the Right Candidate. This is another bog
challenge faced by HR department. They may not be able to receive
the right resumes or right candidates who are best fit for the job.
Even after conducting multiple rounds of interview the position may
remain unfilled due to non availability of right candidate.
- Right understanding of the analytics and using it effectively.
Big Data is the need of the hour and big data plays an important
role in understanding the trends in recruitment industry. But it
may be a big challenge for HR managers to understand and analyse
the data properly. For example HR manager may not able to analyze
that why they are not receiving enough resumes. It may be possible
that the organization may not enjoy good reputation in the market
due to its bad work culture.
- Finding candidates who fit the company culture. New hires need
to be able to integrate into a team and work well in the company
environment, otherwise HR professionals will have to start the
talent acquisition process all over again. It may be possible that
new candidates inspite of being talented and well qualified may
fail to adjust to the organization culture due to politics, lack of
proper training or many other reasons.
