Amazon has five basic core values that they have adopted and have written down even in their code of ethics as the basic values which is need to be followed in the organisation. These 5 basic core values are:
1. Customer Obsession: It is not to be mentioned that Amazon is the earth's largest customer centric organisation which is even noted down in its vision and mission statement. Being obsessed with customer means simply to be the best customer service and product provider and being assured about their values and quality for customer satisfaction.
2. Frugality: Frugality means to be cost effective and efficient anyhow. Wastage is not tolerable at Amazon. Thus, such effectivity ad efficiency is practiced in the organisation to make the operations go sustainable by optimally utilising the resources and reducing the per unit cost anyhow.
3. High bar for talent: Amazon has a high bar for talent. Being recruited as a part of Amazon is itself a big thing. The company always have an eye and need for technology and talent anyhow. They always inspire, train and develop people to be talented and grow themselves within the firm.
4. Innovation: Innovation is the basic factor for this succession of Amazon. Being it Amazon Prime or Firstick, Amazon has to be the most innovative company by providing the most strategic ideas and values to the customer to serve them and make them satisfied. It also makes the employee happy to make them achieve the leves of innovation.
5. Bias for action: At last, Amazon demands action. You can't just go and sit idle in that company. The company needs action. If you are being employed, the company wants you to work and be productive anyhow. Bring the ideas, make a change but the organisation's main motive is to be actionable at all levels.
