It causes small whitish or yellowish deposit on retina beneath the macula causing degeneration over time
Wet:
It affects only 10-15% of people with 85-90% loss of vision. In this type an abnormal blodd vessel grow in retina towards the macula which results in bleeding, breaking and leakage of fluids causing damage to macula. they progress more rapidly , resulting in central loss of vision.
