Ethics is something which defines what is right and what is wrong. What should be done and what should be avoided. Being ethical in decision making in today's world is very difficult and it totally depends upon the company as to how to not compromise with its ethics while taking any decisions.

UBER is a company which is engaged in transportation sector and offers rides to people from one place to another. Off lately it have been noticed that the company is compromising on its ethics and values and just concentrating to earn the profits.

How ethically the business will perform, entirely depends upon how ethically the decisions have been taken and what the top management do to resolve any issues. The top management in case of UBER is making faulty decisions in terms of the safety of the passengers while they are travelling with in terms of who the drivers are. Moreover, no proper security of the passengers was looked into and no cameras were installed in the cabs. Moreover, no decision was taken by the top management in terms of the checking onto the fake id's of the drivers who are operating the cabs.

All this faulty decisions have resulted into poor decision making in terms of unethical practices being followed by the cab drivers and increasing the risk of the passengers on the ride.

The ethical influence took place when the company faced number of law suits and complaints from around the world and people complaining about the safety and illegal treatment by the UBER drivers. All this forced the company to take a decision related to being ethical in their performance and improve its performance towards the welfare of the society. Then the company started taking decisions on installing cameras inside the cabs for safety, making sure that every driver is registered, keeping a track on the location of the cab when on road. These decisions might influence the reputation of the company to some extent in the future.
