Ethical management has been long lasting issue as variety of companies indulge in unethical behaviour and showcase discrepancies and ambiguity in data collection, data reports, public sharing information, etc and mislead the customer or put them under jeopardy.
The case here also shows unethical behaviour and recommends adoption of best in class corporate governance standards using Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) auditing practices which takes calibrated views of how businesses are conducting and what impacts does it have on customer, shareholders and employees and other different stakeholders.
Another area proposed is to incorporate sufficient and sophisticated risk management frameworks with high profile teams which understand red flags and intimate any unethical behaviour in advance.
Also compliance to the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act as well as Companies Act 2013 helps in higher protocol following procedures and jails the individuals involved in phishing or cybersecurity attacks or data manipulation or any other form of heinous activities as deemed within the Act.
Subsequently Sarbanes Oxley Auditing practices also proposed where CFO assures and pledges that all data released is verified and authenticated and correct as per his discretion and thus he bears liability in case of maligned activity or non compliance or non concordance to existing laws.
