After reading Alister Wynn's blog post, "Is Economic Growth Sustainable? consider the implications for how one earns a living, conducts business, or engages in entrepreneurship. Do we have an obligation to future generations to work towards a sustainable market economy? What would a sustainable market economy look like? Could it still be a capitalist economy? What are the implications for the future of work and business?
The sustainable development is the practice which
environmentally responsible and energy saving to introduce
development programmes. This includes use of green materials in new
construction, projects which reduce the load on power grid etc.
Sustainable development satisfies the present generation without
endangering the future generation. The three major components of
sustainable development are economic growth, environmental
protection and social cooperation. Present generation have an
obligation towards the future, especially in the environmental
resources. Environmental resources are non renewable in nature. So
we should use it properly through considering the future
generation.
On the other hand, it is mainly capitalist in nature. The
sustainable development programmes are very expensive. So only
profit oriented countries can manage it properly. Sustainable
market economy can maintain using high level of monetary support.
If this sustainable development can be maintained, the future work
and business become more environmental oriented. It make the next
generation into an eco friendly. Protecting the natural resources
will gives long term development projects.
