The ways in which RFID's (Radio Frequency Identification) can be utilized in a Smart City are :-

1. Retail shops where retailers are able to create superior customer the experience.

2. Industrial use through monitoring manufacturing machines in the supply chain.

3. Smart agriculture where you monitor compost to create correct conditions or even analyzing a greenhouse environment.

4. Health using real-time monitoring of health conditions especially the elderly.

5. Detect ordinary disasters such as earthquakes as well as landslides.

6.Security measures i.e. detecting Explosive gadgets in our residents or malls.

NFC (near field communication), is a wireless radio communication standard which enables two electronics devices to communicate and one is mostly portable device like Smartphone i.e. used in contactless payments like credit cards and electronic ticket smartcards to allow mobile payments.

Advantages of NFC :-

  • Social networks - For instance having to link your social platforms allowing them to share staffover one link and help even gamers come to one platform and compete.
  • Bluetooth, WI-FI - This allows you to connect to Bluetooth devices and Wi-Fi gadgets and ableto share files through a Smartphone.
  • Commerce - It makes you enjoy the benefit of not coming in contact with payments because youget paid electronically. For instance, you get to enjoy MasterCard Pay pass.

Disadvantages of NFC :-

  • NFC are more expensive than QR codes.
  • NFC work better or can only work in short distances.
  • As it is relatively new technology we may have incompatibility among devices.
