Why is it important to utilize data analysis in our attempts to implement community-oriented policing? Doesn’t the officer who works the community know where they need to deploy their resources?
Community oriented work need planning and policy for implantletation of development works .the policy is made in meetings when the officers meet to discuss common problems and finalize a programme and procedure to work on that issue .one of the aspect of policing any plan is availability of data on a particular issue .the data is analalyised with all the issues and planning of future policy so that it works in better way after it is implemented. The analysing of data gives us idea about the work ,its expenditure,and result oriented goals.
Yes the officer is aware of all the work which is going in a community by visiting in a community or getting reports from assistants .he had full knowledge how much the resources he had and also had knowledge about where to utilize those.the officers is responsible person in a community he uses the data of about the resources and formating a programme of the important works and then deploy their resources on that work in a community.
