Before we decide to assist people with disabilities to exercise their rights and support their are some legal and ethical considerations we should be concern about it -

it includes - informed consent , code of conduct , discrimination, Diognity of risk, duty of care, human rights, privacy confidentiality , disclosure, wok health and saftey.

The person with a disability has a various rehabilitative and assistive technology which is very helpful. like they can access information through computers and reading ,enjoy music , sports and arts by laptops or mobiles .

For example , a person whose English spoken is not so good than they can take advantage of screen holders.or screen enlargers and magnifiers.

If a person has spinal cord injury or brain injury or any type of disease can take benefit from rehabilitative technology. There are also various approaches to assist them are - rights based approaches, self advocacy , active support , active listening ,social justice.
