Do you think you can have a strong Threat and Error Management system without good Crew Resource Management? Why or why not?
Yes, I can have a substantial Threat and Error Management system without good Crew Resource Management. The role of a considerable threat and error management system is to deduct an accident from the pilot error. It influences risk management officers and crew members to respectfully ask the captain regarding the availability of risk management structure. However, accidents do not only occur from pilot error. Several reasons are associated with disasters like machinery errors, technical error, improper maintenance, and poorly skilled employees. Thus, crew risk management is not an unavoidable part of the error management system. A proper risk management framework is efficient enough in managing pilot error, technical error, or any errors that cause accidents. The importance of a risk management framework are as follows:
• Risk management framework controls various errors that cause workplace accidents
• Risk management framework has an advanced plan for future disasters
• Risk management framework plans sequentially for pilot errors, technical errors, operational errors, and managerial errors.
