If we talk about the working conditions of people in India and the amount of salaries Indians are offered makes a major difference as compared to the other countries.In India the business working hours run from Monday to Saturday and usually for 8 hours and commonly between 10AM-6PM and overtime is not a big issue here in many industries and many do not offer any compensation for working overtime.There are major differences depending upon the type of company you are working whether its small or big.
Work Practices that are usually happen in everyday life-The ranking order of work in India can be seen through everyday daily environment in the company.People are treated differently according to their position,as comparing to other countries here the behaviour is considered to be harsh toward the employees as comparing to western countries and its very normal for India as jobs are very less here,even as a employee you are uncomfortable, but eventually you need to adapt yourself to low ranking persons which oftenly take advantage of the kindness shown by supervisor.Big companies treat staff very good and expect high returns for their company.
In small companies,there is no terms like relaxed business dinners with employees rather top management always try to bossy and the persons working in the company are addressed by their First name only.
Salaries-Here the salary rate is very low as comparing with the western countries it offers only a fraction amount and a standard company have increments rate vary usually from 10-14% each year.Here the salaries and increments are stated in lakhs.
If You have got transferred to India from a western country by your country then you will be offered as per the western tradition and will be given all the side benefits available to employees at western countries.International companies also provide many specials allowances,holiday packages round a year,health insurance etc mostly offered by bug companies only.
Even if you work for big international company in India,the salary offered to you will be high but it will never reaches to the level of western Country levels.
There are only two countries in the world where the labour rate is very low which is India itself and China,as compared to other western countries.Most company setup their plants here to get work on cheap labour and make high profits for their company and the resources also available at very low rate.
Vacations Leave-In,India there are usually 20-22 paid public holidays which also depends upon the part you work in India as different regions have different traditions.Employees in India Get minimum of 10-15 days paid leaves and if you are working in big companies the paid leaves are more than usual.
There are also other special leaves given to staff as per their agreement as Maternity leaves,paternity leave etc. and the duration period depend upon the companies itself only.
The country is getting developed day by day but still it is behind many western countries and many countries setting up their production plants here to make India grow and make more profits to their company.
