The Similarities in the care of two women:

Differences in the care of the women:
The Teen pregnancy may restrict the woman from future opportunities. The nurse should support them emotionally and also they are at risk of financial dependence and of low self-esteem. This woman is at high risk of obstetrical hazards. The nurse supports her to the transitional role of the mother as she is have less life experiences. The nurse should maintain a therapeutic relationship with the woman to establish positive outcomes.
The woman with 41 years old comes under 'high-risk category'. They are at high risk of hypertension, gestational diabetes, and chromosomal abnormalities. She will have the chance of Cesarean section due to advanced maternal age. The nurse must care about the healthy diet, maintaining of body weight and increased lifestyle activity. Additionally, the fetus should be monitored for any chromosomal abnormalities.
Rationales:
Comparing to the adult woman the teen woman requires unique needs in physical and emotional support and also health teaching to cope up with the lifestyle changes related to pregnancy and birth. Whereas the adult woman care should focus on maternal risks, genetic risks, and delivery challenges. Moreover, the ultimate goal of all pregnancy is to have a healthy mother and healthy baby.
