While her income is limited, she enjoys trying on size zero clothes when she is shopping with friends. Marguerita is young and lives at home. Her family is on a limited budget and they do not have a car. They live in an area of ​​town which is designated as a “food desert.” There are no nearby grocery stores which stock a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. All the stores require taking a bus downtown and transferring to a second bus. The nurse needs to consider options in Marguerita's community to ensure her nutrition.

Pregnancy is an important period in the life of a women. The nutritional needs are increased than a normal women needed it is because of the fetus also need the sufficent amount of nutrients and also the metabolic activities are also increases.

She is malnurished and need extra nutrients to over come the deficency. According to the theory it is said that during first trimester of pregnency the pregnant gain 1kg of weight. And on 2nd trimester the pregnant should gain 5 kg and also in 3rd trimester also again 5kg weight gain. So during the the pregnancy period the women should gain 11kg than the normal weight. So she should take adequate amount of food such as food rich in protein, vitamins, iron and folic acid. This is because of there is increased amount of blood needed.

the goal of weight gain during pregnancy ensure the well being of mother and child and also it avoid the risk of complicated pregnancy and abnormalities in the child.

During pregnancy the women should eat fresh fruit and vetigables in a larger volume in their diet. They are helpful in providng sufficent amount of nutrients as the women required.
