Exercise 5.3: How will the Digital Revolution Affect Your Organization?
Briefing (2)
Ok, you are not leaving the organization after all. That briefing was designed to make you think about potential threats to your organization from agile and innovative “out of sector” competitors. Let us assume that the new business model that you have just described is real, and that somebody else has already thought about it---and may already be setting it up. How can your organization respond to that threat? Better still, how can your organization counter that threat before it emerges?
A Thumbs Up! Would be really helpful for me. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
The Digital revolution will be having a great impact on the organization as it will change the working environment as well as the objectives of the organization. It will help the organization to do business beyond its limits and try to enter the international market and grow its business effectively and efficiently. The competition will also be raised hand if you are strong enough then you can easily compete with your competitors and try to take a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
There is no doubt that the model on which you are working is also being made by someone else at that time. As a company, you need to be the first to launch that model in front of your customers as the value is of those companies who always as-salami the model for product to the customers first. Competition is common nowadays as you will see a competition of the same product at peak and successfully reach that company if they predict the threats and try there best to take competitive advantage and provide satisfaction to their customers with your product because competition will decide whose model is more beneficial for their customers and it will help the customers to get the best price of it. You need to counter your competitor's product by doing a lot of advertisements for your product and try to develop a good image of your product in your customer's mind as it will create a big impact in the competition.
