Expert Solution

Eliminate the industrial age values : All day long, students do nothing, but only follow instructions. At schools, children are awarded for exactly what they are told. Our children doesn't get a chance to think alone creative and show their skills and ideas. But in todays world, we can't live by only following instructions. Inorder to attain success in this modern world, we have to be competitive, ideas, and skillful.

Implementing autonomy and control : At schools, our children experience a complete lack of autonomy and control. Every minute of a child's life is tightly controlled by the system. But in today's world, we have to manage our own time to do a work. We have to make our own decisions on what to do and when to do. Thus in the school, children should given rights to take their own decisions inorder to become success in their future life.

Removal of inauthentic learning : most of the learning that happens in schools today is not authentic because it deals on memorization and wrote learning. And their memory power are measured interms of exams. It is not authentic because most of the learned items may forget after the exams. Thus exams should be made interms of practical sessions and labs more than conducting written exams. These can be the best ways to measure how much a student has learned.

Creating a room for passions and interests : we have an extremely standardised system where each child must learn the same thing at the same time in the same way. This doesn't respect the basic fact of being human that is each of us is unique and different in our own manner. Each of the children have their own interests and passion. Different platforms should be given to the children in their school level itself to develop their interests, passion and skills.

Mode of lecturing : each of the children is also different in how we learn, how much time it takes to learn something and what resources and tools are used for learning. But the present system has no room for such differences. So if a student was bit slow in learning, they are considered as a failure. This mode should be changed. Lecturing should be made more digitalized by using videos and animations. Thus all the children can catch the concepts easily.

Thanks!..
