Giving birth to a child is the pivotal time in the life of a mother and her family.The health of the mother and the child largely determines the future health of the family.Keeping it together and falling apart is the study done on women preparing for child birth.
Purpose :
The purpose of the study is to explore the complexity of women's birth experiences and how these components help in women's well-being in labor.
Approach used for this study
Four characteristics was supported in this phenomenon: Confidence, Comfort,Agency and connection.
Data collection method used:
Qualitative approach with phenomenonagical approach was done
Eight women from different ethnical goup was taken and interviewed twice after a healthy child birth. The first inetrview was done between 3 to 12 week post-partum. And the second inetrview was done between 10 to 22 weeks post-partum. The data was collected about their journey of the child birth.
