How important is the idea of remaining up-to-date on training and skills in the work force? Is there a certain industry that requires skills to be current?

In addition strengthening our skills help us to build confidence, stay flexible, more efficient and productive, becoming more valuable to our employer, make a big contribution to the team, etc.
