What should a multinational company consider when defining boundary and belief systems?
Boundary system can be defined as the minimal behaviour standard employers decide and set for their employees. Typically it is the standard of conduct employees should exhibit while working.
Belief system can be defined as the organization fundamental values, ethics etc.
When defining boundaries and belief system multinational companies should focus on below factor:
1. Culture: Culture is an important factors which needs to be considered while defining boundaries and beliefs reason being multinational companies have to deal with different border lines which has entirely different cultures. Culture influences people behaviours, values, ethics etc and this need to be focused.
2. Legal: Different countries have different legal system which may be correct in one place may not be in the other country. Hence before defining boundaries and beliefs system multinational companies should understand the each and every countries legal system.
3. Technology: Few countries may be well versed with technology while few may be lagging behind and hence when defining boundaries multinational companies should know the current situation of countries technological aspects and then decide accordingly.
