Do you believe that security services will somehow replace public services? In other words, explain the future implications of private security.
The public services are those services that are provided by the government and its beneficiaries are the people living in that jurisdiction. The services like police, education, healthcare system, military, public transportation, emergency services, fire brigade, etc come under public services.
The security services under public services are police, court, etc. These services are directly provided by the federal government for the safety of its people and reducing the crime.
They are given certain power like arresting criminals and punishing them as per the law. They are responsible to maintain law and order for that they are allowed to use force to control the mob and violence. They have permission for executing, arresting, and search warrants if necessary.
Private security is the services that an individual, organization, and institution hired for the safety of their property, assets, the safety of self and customers. These are provided in exchange for a fee and certain jurisdictions; private security is available only to save the property owned by the client.
They do not have the power to arrest, search, detention, or seizure. They can detain the culprit and have to hand over to the police; they have no power to punish the culprit.
The organizations hire private securities from the agencies that help them in reducing the cost of internal security as they do not have to provide training to them.
In the future, private security cannot replace public services because public services are run by the government. The government collects taxes from its people to provide safety and security.
Private security is the autonomous body they are not running from the money collected from the public. It is a business that is run for profit in lieu of providing security to assets, property, and personal security of self and customers.
