Why do end-users need to be sure that the self-sourcing system has an organizational focus?
Answer: The self sourcing systems though are not just like the traditional systems for staffing but they enable the end users to achieve the same goal of getting suitable talent. These systems are generally used for catering to the need for fulfilling the contingent workforce requirements in the companies. It is mainly used for getting employees for achieving their short term requirements. Such systems therefore have a large variety of people who may not have relevant skills and knowledge as required by the end users of such systems. This makes it important for the end users to ensure that the self sourcing system has an organizational focus. If the self sourcing system will not have an organizational focus then the companies will not be able to get the right people who are as per the requirement of the organization. The self sourcing systems that have an Organizational focus help the end users to find the person with the right skills and attitudes that matches with the organizational goal. Without this, the self sourcing systems may mostly provide people who are irrelevant as per the needs of the end users.
