The First phase is of artrial contraction, when pressure in artrium inceases the blood rushes into the ventricles through the opened mitral valve causing atrial systole. Than ventricles contracts, increasing the pressure of blood inside the chamber but not ye high enough to open semilunar (pulmonary and aortic) valves and be ejected from the heart. Increase in blood pressure above atria and cause blood to flow back closing the tricuspid and mitral valves. This process is isovolumic contraction, and thus in ventricular ejection phase contraction of muscle of ventricles increases the blood pressure greater than the pressures in the pulmonary trunk and the aorta thus pumping blood from heart pushing open the pulmonary and aortic semilunar valves. Thus bringing end of Ventricular systole. Than after Ventricular relaxation takes place when pressure drops in ventricles, causing the Ventricular Diastole.
